Code 10 Bus Driver (Airport Shuttle)

Steady shift work with a mine shift transport service in Bellville for drivers with a passenger PrDP. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

This post is Bellville-based, with most of your time spent at a mine shift transport service. Hours are mostly Monday to Friday, with the odd Saturday in busy months.

• Drive fixed routes and keep to the timetable
• Check passenger tickets, tags or staff cards when boarding
• Pick up and drop off schoolchildren only at approved points
• Keep the bus clean inside and report any damage
• Count passengers and make sure nobody stands beyond the limit
• Give tourists a friendly welcome and help with luggage on charters
• Handle breakdowns calmly and keep passengers safe until help arrives

• Medically fit
• Patient and friendly with passengers
• Clean driving and criminal record
• At least 3 years of bus or taxi driving
• Valid PrDP for passengers (P)
• Valid Code 10 or Code 14 licence

• Fluent in more than one language
• Tour coach experience with charters
• Experience on mine or staff transport routes

• Company uniform
• Paid passenger PrDP renewal
• Split-shift allowance on staff transport routes

• Mention the number of passengers you have driven and the vehicle type, like "65-seater" or "22-seater midibus".
• Write "PrDP P valid until" with the date, right at the top of your CV. It is the first thing a bus operator checks.
