Job Description

The road is your office with a cold-chain logistics fleet based in Stellenbosch, and the load gets there because of you. Someone who likes a bit of variety, but also likes doing things the right way, will enjoy this.

You'll report in Stellenbosch. Relocation is not covered for this one.

The work, day to day

Deliver to customers and get proof-of-delivery signed and stamped
Report breakdowns, delays and incidents to the controller immediately
Drive planned routes and stop only at approved truck stops
Check reefer temperatures and record them on cold-chain loads
Keep the cab clean and report defects at the end of each trip
Check the load is secured, strapped or sealed before leaving the depot

What you need

Clean criminal record
At least 3 years on Code 14 trucks
Valid PrDP (G for goods, D for dangerous goods on tankers)
Valid Code 14 (EC) licence
