Job Description

Passengers in Pretoria West trust a mine shift transport service to get them there safely, and that trust is on your shoulders. This is a good step for someone who wants proper routine and a manager who notices good work.

Location: Pretoria West, Gauteng. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first. Start date: as soon as possible for the right person.

What you'll actually do

Write the trip log with times, kilometres and fuel
Keep the bus clean inside and report any damage
Drive fixed routes and keep to the timetable
Give tourists a friendly welcome and help with luggage on charters
Count passengers and make sure nobody stands beyond the limit
Handle breakdowns calmly and keep passengers safe until help arrives
Pick up and drop off schoolchildren only at approved points

Must-haves

At least 3 years of bus or taxi driving
Valid Code 10 or Code 14 licence
Clean driving and criminal record
Patient and friendly with passengers
Punctual for very early starts

Extra points for

Tour coach experience with charters
Fluent in more than one language
