Job Description

Early starts, clear routes and people depending on you: a mine shift transport service in Upington is hiring bus drivers. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

The work is in Upington, Northern Cape, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. Most weeks are 45 hours, in line with the BCEA.

What your day looks like

Count passengers and make sure nobody stands beyond the limit
Write the trip log with times, kilometres and fuel
Keep the bus clean inside and report any damage
Pick up and drop off schoolchildren only at approved points
Give tourists a friendly welcome and help with luggage on charters

You'll need

Valid Code 10 or Code 14 licence
Clean driving and criminal record
Punctual for very early starts
At least 3 years of bus or taxi driving

Helpful, not essential

Tour coach experience with charters
Fluent in more than one language

On offer

Paid passenger PrDP renewal
Split-shift allowance on staff transport routes
