Code 10 Crane Truck Driver (Building Supplies) – Fixed-Term

Drive, deliver, get the signature, next stop: this is route work for a furniture retailer in Bloemfontein. This is a good step for someone who wants proper routine and a manager who notices good work.

This post is in Bloemfontein (Free State). Please only apply if you can travel there daily. The first two weeks are spent shadowing someone experienced.

• Manage your assistant on the truck and share the offloading
• Keep empties and returns separate for credit
• Check the load against invoices before signing it out
• Deliver to shops, sites and homes on your route
• Check the truck's oil, water, tyres and lights before leaving

• Valid PrDP for goods (G)
• Valid Code 10 (C1) licence
• Good knowledge of roads in and around the city
• Honest with cash and customer goods
• At least 2 years driving rigid trucks

• Code 14 licence (a step up)
• Crane or HIAB operator certificate

• Company-paid PrDP renewals
• Delivery incentive per completed route
• Home every night
