Job Description

You'll run local delivery routes around George for a frozen food distributor, dropping 10 to 20 stops a day. It's the kind of job where doing the basics well every day gets you noticed.

The work, day to day

Get signed invoices back to the office at the end of each day
Check the truck's oil, water, tyres and lights before leaving
Keep empties and returns separate for credit
Report damaged goods or refused deliveries straight away
Manage your assistant on the truck and share the offloading
Check the load against invoices before signing it out
Operate the truck-mounted crane to offload bricks or pallets

What you need

Valid PrDP for goods (G)
Clean driving record
Good knowledge of roads in and around the city
Valid Code 10 (C1) licence
At least 2 years driving rigid trucks

Nice if you have

Speaking local languages on township routes
Code 14 licence (a step up)
