Code 10 Crane Truck Driver (Building Supplies) – Experienced

You'll run local delivery routes around Lephalale for a furniture retailer, dropping 10 to 20 stops a day. It's a practical job: you'll see what you got done before you go home.

The work is in Lephalale, Limpopo, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. Start date: as soon as possible for the right person.

• Fill in the trip sheet with kilometres, fuel and stops
• Plan your drop order with the dispatch clerk each morning
• Deliver to shops, sites and homes on your route
• Check the truck's oil, water, tyres and lights before leaving
• Report damaged goods or refused deliveries straight away
• Keep empties and returns separate for credit
• Collect cash or cheques on COD deliveries and bank them correctly

• Valid PrDP for goods (G)
• Valid Code 10 (C1) licence
• Good knowledge of roads in and around the city
• Friendly and professional with customers

• Speaking local languages on township routes
• Crane or HIAB operator certificate
• Code 14 licence (a step up)

• Delivery incentive per completed route
• Home every night
• Company-paid PrDP renewals

• Mention cash handling if you have done COD deliveries. Honest cash drivers are what distributors worry about most.
• If your PrDP expires soon, renew it before applying. An expired PrDP is an automatic no.
