Job Description

Customers across Midrand wait on your truck, so a beverage wholesaler needs someone reliable behind the wheel. Good for someone who wants to build a solid track record they can put on their CV.

This post is in Midrand (Gauteng). Please only apply if you can travel there daily.

What your day looks like

Fill in the trip sheet with kilometres, fuel and stops
Check the truck's oil, water, tyres and lights before leaving
Collect cash or cheques on COD deliveries and bank them correctly
Check the load against invoices before signing it out
Report damaged goods or refused deliveries straight away
Get signed invoices back to the office at the end of each day

What you need

Friendly and professional with customers
Good knowledge of roads in and around the city
Valid Code 10 (C1) licence
Clean driving record

Helpful, not essential

Code 14 licence (a step up)
Experience on a sales-and-delivery route
