Job Description

You'll run local delivery routes around Pinetown for a beverage wholesaler, dropping 10 to 20 stops a day. Bring a calm head on busy days and you'll be fine.

This post is Pinetown-based, with most of your time spent at a beverage wholesaler.

What you'll actually do

Fill in the trip sheet with kilometres, fuel and stops
Get signed invoices back to the office at the end of each day
Check the truck's oil, water, tyres and lights before leaving
Operate the truck-mounted crane to offload bricks or pallets
Deliver to shops, sites and homes on your route

You'll need

Clean driving record
At least 2 years driving rigid trucks
Honest with cash and customer goods
Valid PrDP for goods (G)
Valid Code 10 (C1) licence
Good knowledge of roads in and around the city

Extra points for

Crane or HIAB operator certificate
Code 14 licence (a step up)
