Job Description

You'll run local delivery routes around Bellville for a beverage wholesaler, dropping 10 to 20 stops a day. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

Home base is a beverage wholesaler on the Bellville side of Western Cape.

What you'll actually do

Manage your assistant on the truck and share the offloading
Plan your drop order with the dispatch clerk each morning
Collect cash or cheques on COD deliveries and bank them correctly
Check the truck's oil, water, tyres and lights before leaving
Get signed invoices back to the office at the end of each day
Deliver to shops, sites and homes on your route

What you need

At least 2 years driving rigid trucks
Clean driving record
Valid PrDP for goods (G)
Friendly and professional with customers
Good knowledge of roads in and around the city

Extra points for

Crane or HIAB operator certificate
Code 14 licence (a step up)
Speaking local languages on township routes
