Code 10 Delivery Driver (Rigid Truck)

You'll run local delivery routes around Bethlehem for a building-supplies merchant, dropping 10 to 20 stops a day. Good for someone who wants to build a solid track record they can put on their CV.

You'll report in Bethlehem. Relocation is not covered for this one. There's a probation period of three months before the contract is confirmed.

• Deliver to shops, sites and homes on your route
• Operate the truck-mounted crane to offload bricks or pallets
• Report damaged goods or refused deliveries straight away
• Check the truck's oil, water, tyres and lights before leaving
• Keep empties and returns separate for credit
• Manage your assistant on the truck and share the offloading

• Good knowledge of roads in and around the city
• Valid PrDP for goods (G)
• Valid Code 10 (C1) licence
• At least 2 years driving rigid trucks
• Honest with cash and customer goods

• Crane or HIAB operator certificate
• Experience on a sales-and-delivery route

• Overtime on month-end and peak days
• Delivery incentive per completed route
• Company-paid PrDP renewals
• Home every night

• If your PrDP expires soon, renew it before applying. An expired PrDP is an automatic no.
• Mention cash handling if you have done COD deliveries. Honest cash drivers are what distributors worry about most.
