Job Description

Customers across Randburg wait on your truck, so a beverage wholesaler needs someone reliable behind the wheel. Bring a calm head on busy days and you'll be fine.

This post is Randburg-based, with most of your time spent at a beverage wholesaler. Overtime comes up in peak season and is paid.

What your day looks like

Plan your drop order with the dispatch clerk each morning
Manage your assistant on the truck and share the offloading
Check the load against invoices before signing it out
Fill in the trip sheet with kilometres, fuel and stops
Deliver to shops, sites and homes on your route
Keep empties and returns separate for credit
Get signed invoices back to the office at the end of each day

You'll need

Good knowledge of roads in and around the city
Friendly and professional with customers
Valid PrDP for goods (G)
Clean driving record
At least 2 years driving rigid trucks

Nice if you have

Code 14 licence (a step up)
Experience on a sales-and-delivery route
