Job Description

You'll run local delivery routes around Brits for a furniture retailer, dropping 10 to 20 stops a day. If you learn fast and don't mind being shown things twice, you'll settle in within a few weeks.

This post is in Brits (North West). Please only apply if you can travel there daily.

What you'll actually do

Plan your drop order with the dispatch clerk each morning
Operate the truck-mounted crane to offload bricks or pallets
Manage your assistant on the truck and share the offloading
Collect cash or cheques on COD deliveries and bank them correctly
Deliver to shops, sites and homes on your route

You'll need

Valid PrDP for goods (G)
Honest with cash and customer goods
Clean driving record
Valid Code 10 (C1) licence
Friendly and professional with customers
Good knowledge of roads in and around the city
