Code 10 Driver (Beverage Distribution)

You'll run local delivery routes around Centurion for a beverage wholesaler, dropping 10 to 20 stops a day. It's the kind of job where doing the basics well every day gets you noticed.

Home base is a beverage wholesaler on the Centurion side of Gauteng. Start is planned for the beginning of next month.

• Plan your drop order with the dispatch clerk each morning
• Get signed invoices back to the office at the end of each day
• Keep empties and returns separate for credit
• Check the truck's oil, water, tyres and lights before leaving
• Deliver to shops, sites and homes on your route
• Manage your assistant on the truck and share the offloading

• Valid Code 10 (C1) licence
• Honest with cash and customer goods
• At least 2 years driving rigid trucks
• Good knowledge of roads in and around the city

• Crane or HIAB operator certificate
• Experience on a sales-and-delivery route

• Delivery incentive per completed route
• Company-paid PrDP renewals
• Home every night

• If your PrDP expires soon, renew it before applying. An expired PrDP is an automatic no.
• Mention cash handling if you have done COD deliveries. Honest cash drivers are what distributors worry about most.
