Job Description

Drive, deliver, get the signature, next stop: this is route work for a waste management contractor in Fourways. It's a practical job: you'll see what you got done before you go home.

You'll report in Fourways. Relocation is not covered for this one.

The work, day to day

Manage your assistant on the truck and share the offloading
Deliver to shops, sites and homes on your route
Operate the truck-mounted crane to offload bricks or pallets
Fill in the trip sheet with kilometres, fuel and stops
Collect cash or cheques on COD deliveries and bank them correctly

What you need

Valid Code 10 (C1) licence
Good knowledge of roads in and around the city
Honest with cash and customer goods
At least 2 years driving rigid trucks
Friendly and professional with customers
Valid PrDP for goods (G)

Helpful, not essential

Code 14 licence (a step up)
Experience on a sales-and-delivery route
