Job Description

You'll run local delivery routes around Kathu for a furniture retailer, dropping 10 to 20 stops a day. It's the kind of job where doing the basics well every day gets you noticed.

The work is in Kathu, Northern Cape, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. There's a probation period of three months before the contract is confirmed.

What you'll actually do

Collect cash or cheques on COD deliveries and bank them correctly
Keep empties and returns separate for credit
Check the load against invoices before signing it out
Check the truck's oil, water, tyres and lights before leaving
Report damaged goods or refused deliveries straight away

You'll need

Clean driving record
Honest with cash and customer goods
Valid PrDP for goods (G)
Valid Code 10 (C1) licence
At least 2 years driving rigid trucks
