Apply for this job

Job Description

Drive, deliver, get the signature, next stop: this is route work for a beverage wholesaler in Somerset West. If you learn fast and don't mind being shown things twice, you'll settle in within a few weeks.

The site is in Somerset West; early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying.

What your day looks like

Get signed invoices back to the office at the end of each day
Keep empties and returns separate for credit
Collect cash or cheques on COD deliveries and bank them correctly
Check the load against invoices before signing it out
Plan your drop order with the dispatch clerk each morning

You'll need

Clean driving record
Friendly and professional with customers
Honest with cash and customer goods
Valid PrDP for goods (G)

What's in it for you

Delivery incentive per completed route
Home every night
Company-paid PrDP renewals
Overtime on month-end and peak days

Applying, step by step

Check you meet the must-haves first; recruiters filter on those before anything else.
Get these ready, because shortlisted people are asked for them straight away: references from delivery or distribution jobs, ID copy and proof of residence plus Code 10 licence and PrDP card copies.
Fill in the short form below with your name and a phone number you actually answer.
Watch for a call or WhatsApp from How2Apply over the next 7 working days.

Your application joins the How2Apply talent pool for this role, and we put shortlisted people forward to employers hiring in and around Somerset West.

How2Apply never charges you to apply, for training, for uniforms or for a "placement fee". If anyone asks you for money, it is a scam.

How to stand out

Mention cash handling if you have done COD deliveries. Honest cash drivers are what distributors worry about most.
If your PrDP expires soon, renew it before applying. An expired PrDP is an automatic no.
