Job Description

Drive, deliver, get the signature, next stop: this is route work for a waste management contractor in Centurion. Bring a calm head on busy days and you'll be fine.

You'll report in Centurion. Relocation is not covered for this one. Start date: as soon as possible for the right person.

The work, day to day

Operate the truck-mounted crane to offload bricks or pallets
Check the load against invoices before signing it out
Report damaged goods or refused deliveries straight away
Check the truck's oil, water, tyres and lights before leaving
Manage your assistant on the truck and share the offloading

Must-haves

At least 2 years driving rigid trucks
Good knowledge of roads in and around the city
Valid Code 10 (C1) licence
Honest with cash and customer goods

Nice if you have

Code 14 licence (a step up)
Experience on a sales-and-delivery route
