Company Runner (Code 8, Light Vehicle) – Entry Level

For a motor spares shop in Roodepoort, fast and careful deliveries keep customers coming back. This is a good step for someone who wants proper routine and a manager who notices good work.

You'll report in Roodepoort. Relocation is not covered for this one.

• Load parcels in route order from the depot scanning area
• Phone customers when the address is hard to find
• Bank cheques, post documents and run office errands
• Fill up the vehicle and keep fuel slips for the logbook
• Collect spares and parts from suppliers and bring them to the workshop
• Scan parcels on delivery and take a photo or signature

• Valid Code 8 (B) licence, or A licence for motorbike roles
• Polite with customers at the door
• Smartphone and comfortable using delivery apps
• At least 1 year of driving experience
• Clean driving record and no criminal record
• Good sense of direction and map reading

• Fuel card for work trips
• Branded uniform and rain gear
• Per-drop incentive on busy days
• Company van, bakkie or scooter provided

• Say you have a smartphone and know delivery apps. Most courier jobs now run through an app and training time is short.
• If you have a clean driving record, write "no accidents, no traffic fines" plainly. It is what recruiters look for.
