Job Description

Customers across eMalahleni wait on your truck, so a furniture retailer needs someone reliable behind the wheel. If you learn fast and don't mind being shown things twice, you'll settle in within a few weeks.

This post is in eMalahleni (Mpumalanga). Please only apply if you can travel there daily.

Plan your drop order with the dispatch clerk each morning
Keep empties and returns separate for credit
Deliver to shops, sites and homes on your route
Check the load against invoices before signing it out
Get signed invoices back to the office at the end of each day
Operate the truck-mounted crane to offload bricks or pallets

You'll need

Friendly and professional with customers
Clean driving record
Honest with cash and customer goods
Good knowledge of roads in and around the city

What's in it for you

Overtime on month-end and peak days
Home every night
Company-paid PrDP renewals

Applying, step by step

Read the "What you need" list above. If you tick most of it, go ahead and apply.
Keep copies of these ready to send: references from delivery or distribution jobs, Code 10 licence and PrDP card copies plus ID copy and proof of residence.
Send your details with the form below. Add one or two lines about similar work you've done.
Watch for a call or WhatsApp from How2Apply over the next 10 working days.

How2Apply recruits for this position on behalf of hiring employers around eMalahleni; applications go into our talent pool and shortlisted candidates are introduced directly.

How2Apply never charges you to apply, for training, for uniforms or for a "placement fee". If anyone asks you for money, it is a scam.

How to stand out

If your PrDP expires soon, renew it before applying. An expired PrDP is an automatic no.
Mention cash handling if you have done COD deliveries. Honest cash drivers are what distributors worry about most.
