Job Description

Customers across Springs wait on your truck, so a waste management contractor needs someone reliable behind the wheel. It suits someone who likes knowing exactly what a good day's work looks like.

This post is Springs-based, with most of your time spent at a waste management contractor.

What you'll actually do

Check the truck's oil, water, tyres and lights before leaving
Check the load against invoices before signing it out
Operate the truck-mounted crane to offload bricks or pallets
Manage your assistant on the truck and share the offloading
Get signed invoices back to the office at the end of each day

You'll need

Valid Code 10 (C1) licence
At least 2 years driving rigid trucks
Clean driving record
Friendly and professional with customers

Helpful, not essential

Code 14 licence (a step up)
Speaking local languages on township routes
Experience on a sales-and-delivery route

On offer
