Drive, deliver, get the signature, next stop: this is route work for a building-supplies merchant in Bellville. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

You'll be based at a building-supplies merchant in Bellville. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. There's a probation period of three months before the contract is confirmed.

• Collect cash or cheques on COD deliveries and bank them correctly
• Report damaged goods or refused deliveries straight away
• Keep empties and returns separate for credit
• Check the load against invoices before signing it out
• Get signed invoices back to the office at the end of each day
• Plan your drop order with the dispatch clerk each morning
• Check the truck's oil, water, tyres and lights before leaving

• Clean driving record
• Valid PrDP for goods (G)
• At least 2 years driving rigid trucks
• Good knowledge of roads in and around the city

• Home every night

• Overtime on month-end and peak days
