Job Description

Drive, deliver, get the signature, next stop: this is route work for a building-supplies merchant in Pretoria East. Bring a calm head on busy days and you'll be fine.

The site is in Pretoria East; early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying.

What your day looks like

Operate the truck-mounted crane to offload bricks or pallets
Keep empties and returns separate for credit
Get signed invoices back to the office at the end of each day
Check the truck's oil, water, tyres and lights before leaving
Deliver to shops, sites and homes on your route
Report damaged goods or refused deliveries straight away
Fill in the trip sheet with kilometres, fuel and stops

Must-haves

Valid Code 10 (C1) licence
Good knowledge of roads in and around the city
Honest with cash and customer goods
Clean driving record

Helpful, not essential

Crane or HIAB operator certificate
Speaking local languages on township routes
