Job Description

Customers across Pretoria West wait on your truck, so a waste management contractor needs someone reliable behind the wheel. This is a good step for someone who wants proper routine and a manager who notices good work.

Home base is a waste management contractor on the Pretoria West side of Gauteng.

The work, day to day

Fill in the trip sheet with kilometres, fuel and stops
Report damaged goods or refused deliveries straight away
Check the truck's oil, water, tyres and lights before leaving
Get signed invoices back to the office at the end of each day
Check the load against invoices before signing it out

Must-haves

Good knowledge of roads in and around the city
Valid Code 10 (C1) licence
At least 2 years driving rigid trucks
Valid PrDP for goods (G)
Clean driving record
Friendly and professional with customers

Nice if you have

Speaking local languages on township routes
Crane or HIAB operator certificate
