Job Description

Home every night: a waste management contractor in Upington needs a steady Code 10 driver for daily routes. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.

Location: Upington, Northern Cape. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first.

What you'll actually do

Collect cash or cheques on COD deliveries and bank them correctly
Operate the truck-mounted crane to offload bricks or pallets
Deliver to shops, sites and homes on your route
Check the load against invoices before signing it out
Get signed invoices back to the office at the end of each day
Keep empties and returns separate for credit
Report damaged goods or refused deliveries straight away

Must-haves

Clean driving record
Friendly and professional with customers
Good knowledge of roads in and around the city
Valid Code 10 (C1) licence
