Job Description

You'll move heavy loads between Fourways and depots across the country for a fuel distribution fleet. This is a good step for someone who wants proper routine and a manager who notices good work.

The work is in Fourways, Gauteng, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day.

The work, day to day

Deliver to customers and get proof-of-delivery signed and stamped
Follow hazchem rules, placards and emergency procedures on tanker loads
Complete border paperwork at Beitbridge, Lebombo or other posts
Carry out fuel stops with the fuel card and keep the slips
Log driving hours and take the required rest breaks

What you need

Clean criminal record
Able to be away from home for several nights at a time
Valid Code 14 (EC) licence
At least 3 years on Code 14 trucks
Passport for cross-border routes

Helpful, not essential

Knowledge of SADC border routes
Clean record on a telematics driving score
Dangerous goods training certificate
