Job Description

Experienced Code 14 drivers are in short supply, and a fuel distribution fleet in Kempton Park is hiring. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

The work is in Kempton Park, Gauteng, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. Weekend work is on a roster, so you won't be on every weekend.

What your day looks like

Keep the logbook and tachograph or telematics records up to date
Keep the cab clean and report defects at the end of each trip
Deliver to customers and get proof-of-delivery signed and stamped
Complete border paperwork at Beitbridge, Lebombo or other posts
Carry out fuel stops with the fuel card and keep the slips

You'll need

Medically fit, including eyesight
Valid PrDP (G for goods, D for dangerous goods on tankers)
Clean driving record with no serious accidents
Able to be away from home for several nights at a time
Passport for cross-border routes
