Job Description

Experienced Code 14 drivers are in short supply, and a cross-border transport company in Middelburg (MP) is hiring. It suits someone who likes knowing exactly what a good day's work looks like.

What you'll actually do

Keep the logbook and tachograph or telematics records up to date
Log driving hours and take the required rest breaks
Report breakdowns, delays and incidents to the controller immediately
Do a full pre-trip inspection: tyres, brakes, lights, couplings and fluids
Carry out fuel stops with the fuel card and keep the slips
Keep the cab clean and report defects at the end of each trip

What you need

Medically fit, including eyesight
Passport for cross-border routes
At least 3 years on Code 14 trucks
Valid PrDP (G for goods, D for dangerous goods on tankers)
Valid Code 14 (EC) licence
