Code 14 Car Carrier Driver

You'll move heavy loads between Polokwane and depots across the country for a fuel distribution fleet. It's a practical job: you'll see what you got done before you go home.

The site is in Polokwane; early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying. You'll start with a short induction before working on your own.

• Check reefer temperatures and record them on cold-chain loads
• Keep the cab clean and report defects at the end of each trip
• Complete border paperwork at Beitbridge, Lebombo or other posts
• Deliver to customers and get proof-of-delivery signed and stamped
• Log driving hours and take the required rest breaks

• Medically fit, including eyesight
• Clean criminal record
• Able to be away from home for several nights at a time
• Valid PrDP (G for goods, D for dangerous goods on tankers)
• Valid Code 14 (EC) licence

• Put your licence code, PrDP expiry date and years on Code 14 in the first three lines. Transport managers scan for those first.
