Job Description

The road is your office with a cross-border transport company based in Centurion, and the load gets there because of you. People who do well here are steady, honest and not scared to ask when something is unclear.

You'll report in Centurion. Relocation is not covered for this one. Start date: as soon as possible for the right person.

What you'll actually do

Keep the cab clean and report defects at the end of each trip
Carry out fuel stops with the fuel card and keep the slips
Report breakdowns, delays and incidents to the controller immediately
Do a full pre-trip inspection: tyres, brakes, lights, couplings and fluids
Follow hazchem rules, placards and emergency procedures on tanker loads

What you need

Clean criminal record
Medically fit, including eyesight
Clean driving record with no serious accidents
Able to be away from home for several nights at a time

Nice if you have

Dangerous goods training certificate
Experience on a specific trailer type (tanker, tipper, reefer)
