Job Description

You'll move heavy loads between Prospecton and depots across the country for a fuel distribution fleet. Bring a calm head on busy days and you'll be fine.

The site is in Prospecton; early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying. Start is planned for the beginning of next month.

What you'll actually do

Report breakdowns, delays and incidents to the controller immediately
Check reefer temperatures and record them on cold-chain loads
Deliver to customers and get proof-of-delivery signed and stamped
Keep the logbook and tachograph or telematics records up to date
Do a full pre-trip inspection: tyres, brakes, lights, couplings and fluids

Must-haves

Clean criminal record
At least 3 years on Code 14 trucks
Valid PrDP (G for goods, D for dangerous goods on tankers)
Able to be away from home for several nights at a time
Clean driving record with no serious accidents
Valid Code 14 (EC) licence

Helpful, not essential

Experience on a specific trailer type (tanker, tipper, reefer)
Dangerous goods training certificate
