Job Description

You'll move heavy loads between Randburg and depots across the country for a long-haul freight fleet. This is a good step for someone who wants proper routine and a manager who notices good work.

You'll be based at a long-haul freight fleet in Randburg. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps.

What you'll actually do

Follow hazchem rules, placards and emergency procedures on tanker loads
Check the load is secured, strapped or sealed before leaving the depot
Keep the cab clean and report defects at the end of each trip
Report breakdowns, delays and incidents to the controller immediately
Deliver to customers and get proof-of-delivery signed and stamped

You'll need

Passport for cross-border routes
Clean driving record with no serious accidents
Medically fit, including eyesight
Valid PrDP (G for goods, D for dangerous goods on tankers)
At least 3 years on Code 14 trucks

On offer
