Job Description

Experienced Code 14 drivers are in short supply, and a cross-border transport company in Cape Town CBD is hiring. Someone who likes a bit of variety, but also likes doing things the right way, will enjoy this.

This post is Cape Town CBD-based, with most of your time spent at a cross-border transport company.

What you'll actually do

Drive planned routes and stop only at approved truck stops
Keep the logbook and tachograph or telematics records up to date
Check reefer temperatures and record them on cold-chain loads
Carry out fuel stops with the fuel card and keep the slips
Deliver to customers and get proof-of-delivery signed and stamped

You'll need

Valid Code 14 (EC) licence
Clean driving record with no serious accidents
Medically fit, including eyesight
Passport for cross-border routes
Clean criminal record
