Job Description

Long hours, clean record, safe arrival every time: that is what a long-haul freight fleet in Krugersdorp pays for. People who do well here are steady, honest and not scared to ask when something is unclear.

What your day looks like

Keep the logbook and tachograph or telematics records up to date
Deliver to customers and get proof-of-delivery signed and stamped
Do a full pre-trip inspection: tyres, brakes, lights, couplings and fluids
Follow hazchem rules, placards and emergency procedures on tanker loads
Report breakdowns, delays and incidents to the controller immediately
Log driving hours and take the required rest breaks

You'll need

Valid Code 14 (EC) licence
At least 3 years on Code 14 trucks
Passport for cross-border routes
Able to be away from home for several nights at a time
Clean driving record with no serious accidents
