Job Description

Long hours, clean record, safe arrival every time: that is what a coal haulage contractor in White River pays for. It suits someone who likes knowing exactly what a good day's work looks like.

Location: White River, Mpumalanga. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first.

What your day looks like

Log driving hours and take the required rest breaks
Carry out fuel stops with the fuel card and keep the slips
Report breakdowns, delays and incidents to the controller immediately
Complete border paperwork at Beitbridge, Lebombo or other posts
Drive planned routes and stop only at approved truck stops

You'll need

Clean criminal record
Passport for cross-border routes
Able to be away from home for several nights at a time
Valid PrDP (G for goods, D for dangerous goods on tankers)
At least 3 years on Code 14 trucks

Nice if you have

Knowledge of SADC border routes
Experience on a specific trailer type (tanker, tipper, reefer)
