Job Description

Trucks, drivers, loads and deadlines all meet on your screen at a courier operations centre in Middelburg (MP). It suits someone who likes knowing exactly what a good day's work looks like.

Home base is a courier operations centre on the Middelburg (MP) side of Mpumalanga.

What you'll actually do

Update customers on delivery times and delays
Assign trucks and drivers to routes and track them on telematics
Capture trip sheets, fuel and toll costs on the system
Phone drivers when trucks stop too long or go off-route
Check driver hours so nobody drives too long without rest
Book vehicle services, licence renewals and roadworthy tests

You'll need

Matric
At least 2 years in transport or logistics
Good with Excel and email
Clear on the phone with drivers and customers
Calm and decisive when things go wrong

Helpful, not essential

Previous truck driving experience
Transport management system (TMS) experience
Experience on a vehicle telematics platform
