Job Description

The road is your office with a fuel distribution fleet based in Pretoria East, and the load gets there because of you. It suits someone who likes knowing exactly what a good day's work looks like.

The work is in Pretoria East, Gauteng, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day.

The work, day to day

Report breakdowns, delays and incidents to the controller immediately
Carry out fuel stops with the fuel card and keep the slips
Deliver to customers and get proof-of-delivery signed and stamped
Keep the cab clean and report defects at the end of each trip
Follow hazchem rules, placards and emergency procedures on tanker loads

Must-haves

Passport for cross-border routes
Valid PrDP (G for goods, D for dangerous goods on tankers)
Clean driving record with no serious accidents
Valid Code 14 (EC) licence

Helpful, not essential

Knowledge of SADC border routes
Clean record on a telematics driving score
Defensive driving course
