Job Description

The road is your office with a long-haul freight fleet based in Centurion, and the load gets there because of you. It's a practical job: you'll see what you got done before you go home.

Location: Centurion, Gauteng. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first. Hours are mostly Monday to Friday, with the odd Saturday in busy months.

What your day looks like

Check the load is secured, strapped or sealed before leaving the depot
Drive planned routes and stop only at approved truck stops
Deliver to customers and get proof-of-delivery signed and stamped
Carry out fuel stops with the fuel card and keep the slips
Follow hazchem rules, placards and emergency procedures on tanker loads

Must-haves

Clean driving record with no serious accidents
Medically fit, including eyesight
Able to be away from home for several nights at a time
Clean criminal record
Passport for cross-border routes
Valid PrDP (G for goods, D for dangerous goods on tankers)

On offer

Paid PrDP renewal
