Job Description

Long hours, clean record, safe arrival every time: that is what a cross-border transport company in Germiston pays for. Bring a calm head on busy days and you'll be fine.

The work is in Germiston, Gauteng, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day.

What you'll actually do

Drive planned routes and stop only at approved truck stops
Carry out fuel stops with the fuel card and keep the slips
Report breakdowns, delays and incidents to the controller immediately
Deliver to customers and get proof-of-delivery signed and stamped
Complete border paperwork at Beitbridge, Lebombo or other posts
Do a full pre-trip inspection: tyres, brakes, lights, couplings and fluids

What you need

Medically fit, including eyesight
Clean driving record with no serious accidents
At least 3 years on Code 14 trucks
Valid Code 14 (EC) licence
