Drive planned routes and stop only at approved truck stops
Complete border paperwork at Beitbridge, Lebombo or other posts

Able to be away from home for several nights at a time
At least 3 years on Code 14 trucks
Clean criminal record

What's in it for you

Overnight and subsistence allowance on trips
Provident fund and medical aid option
Monthly safe-driving and fuel-saving bonus
Well-maintained trucks with sleeper cabs

How to apply

Make sure the role, the hours and working in Pretoria East really suit you before you apply.
Get these ready, because shortlisted people are asked for them straight away: dangerous goods certificate if you have one, Code 14 licence card and PrDP (both sides copied) plus reference letters from previous transport companies.
Fill in the short form below with your name and a phone number you actually answer.
Watch for a call or WhatsApp from How2Apply over the next 8 working days.

Your application joins the How2Apply talent pool for this role, and we put shortlisted people forward to employers hiring in and around Pretoria East.

How2Apply never charges you to apply, for training, for uniforms or for a "placement fee". If anyone asks you for money, it is a scam.

Tips to get shortlisted

Be honest about accidents or fines. Companies check your driving record anyway and trust drivers who tell them upfront.
List the trailer types and routes you have done, for example "tautliner, JHB to Durban, 4 years".
