Job Description

The road is your office with a cold-chain logistics fleet based in Tembisa, and the load gets there because of you. Someone who likes a bit of variety, but also likes doing things the right way, will enjoy this.

You'll be based at a cold-chain logistics fleet in Tembisa. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps.

What your day looks like

Log driving hours and take the required rest breaks
Check the load is secured, strapped or sealed before leaving the depot
Keep the cab clean and report defects at the end of each trip
Do a full pre-trip inspection: tyres, brakes, lights, couplings and fluids
Carry out fuel stops with the fuel card and keep the slips
Complete border paperwork at Beitbridge, Lebombo or other posts

You'll need

Medically fit, including eyesight
Passport for cross-border routes
Valid PrDP (G for goods, D for dangerous goods on tankers)
Valid Code 14 (EC) licence

Nice if you have

Defensive driving course
Knowledge of SADC border routes
