Job Description

Experienced Code 14 drivers are in short supply, and a long-haul freight fleet in Bloemfontein is hiring. Someone who likes a bit of variety, but also likes doing things the right way, will enjoy this.

This post is in Bloemfontein (Free State). Please only apply if you can travel there daily.

What your day looks like

Check reefer temperatures and record them on cold-chain loads
Report breakdowns, delays and incidents to the controller immediately
Follow hazchem rules, placards and emergency procedures on tanker loads
Do a full pre-trip inspection: tyres, brakes, lights, couplings and fluids
Deliver to customers and get proof-of-delivery signed and stamped
Keep the logbook and tachograph or telematics records up to date

What you need

Clean driving record with no serious accidents
Passport for cross-border routes
Clean criminal record
Medically fit, including eyesight
Valid PrDP (G for goods, D for dangerous goods on tankers)
