Job Description

The road is your office with a cold-chain logistics fleet based in Randburg, and the load gets there because of you. People who do well here are steady, honest and not scared to ask when something is unclear.

The site is in Randburg; early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying.

What you'll actually do

Do a full pre-trip inspection: tyres, brakes, lights, couplings and fluids
Keep the logbook and tachograph or telematics records up to date
Deliver to customers and get proof-of-delivery signed and stamped
Report breakdowns, delays and incidents to the controller immediately
Carry out fuel stops with the fuel card and keep the slips

Must-haves

Medically fit, including eyesight
Clean criminal record
Valid PrDP (G for goods, D for dangerous goods on tankers)
Passport for cross-border routes

Extra points for

Dangerous goods training certificate
Defensive driving course
Clean record on a telematics driving score
