Job Description

The road is your office with a cold-chain logistics fleet based in Paarl, and the load gets there because of you. You don't need to be the loudest person in the room, just the one others can count on.

This post is in Paarl (Western Cape). Please only apply if you can travel there daily.

What you'll actually do

Check reefer temperatures and record them on cold-chain loads
Check the load is secured, strapped or sealed before leaving the depot
Keep the logbook and tachograph or telematics records up to date
Follow hazchem rules, placards and emergency procedures on tanker loads
Report breakdowns, delays and incidents to the controller immediately

What you need

Valid PrDP (G for goods, D for dangerous goods on tankers)
Valid Code 14 (EC) licence
Passport for cross-border routes
At least 3 years on Code 14 trucks
