Job Description

Long hours, clean record, safe arrival every time: that is what a fuel distribution fleet in Pinetown pays for. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

You'll report in Pinetown. Relocation is not covered for this one. Start date: as soon as possible for the right person.

What your day looks like

Do a full pre-trip inspection: tyres, brakes, lights, couplings and fluids
Carry out fuel stops with the fuel card and keep the slips
Keep the logbook and tachograph or telematics records up to date
Keep the cab clean and report defects at the end of each trip
Log driving hours and take the required rest breaks
Complete border paperwork at Beitbridge, Lebombo or other posts

You'll need

At least 3 years on Code 14 trucks
Able to be away from home for several nights at a time
Passport for cross-border routes
Medically fit, including eyesight
Clean criminal record

Nice if you have

Clean record on a telematics driving score
Experience on a specific trailer type (tanker, tipper, reefer)
Defensive driving course
