Job Description

You'll zip parcels, spares or documents around Mthatha for an engineering firm, all day, all over town. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

Location: Mthatha, Eastern Cape. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first.

What your day looks like

Collect spares and parts from suppliers and bring them to the workshop
Phone customers when the address is hard to find
Follow the delivery app for route and stop order
Fill up the vehicle and keep fuel slips for the logbook
Bank cheques, post documents and run office errands
Deliver chronic medication to patients' homes and confirm ID
Return undelivered parcels to the depot with a reason code

What you need

Polite with customers at the door
At least 1 year of driving experience
Able to work Saturdays
Clean driving record and no criminal record
Valid Code 8 (B) licence, or A licence for motorbike roles

Helpful, not essential

PrDP for staff shuttle posts
Knowledge of the city's industrial areas
Your own reliable bakkie or bike for owner-driver contracts
