Job Description

For an engineering firm in Paarl, fast and careful deliveries keep customers coming back. Someone who likes a bit of variety, but also likes doing things the right way, will enjoy this.

You'll be based at an engineering firm in Paarl. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps.

What you'll actually do

Keep your vehicle or bike clean and report faults
Follow the delivery app for route and stop order
Deliver chronic medication to patients' homes and confirm ID
Bank cheques, post documents and run office errands
Scan parcels on delivery and take a photo or signature
Fill up the vehicle and keep fuel slips for the logbook

You'll need

Able to work Saturdays
Smartphone and comfortable using delivery apps
Polite with customers at the door
At least 1 year of driving experience
Valid Code 8 (B) licence, or A licence for motorbike roles
Good sense of direction and map reading

Extra points for

Knowledge of the city's industrial areas
Your own reliable bakkie or bike for owner-driver contracts
Previous courier or last-mile experience
