Code 8 Driver (Staff Shuttle)

A clean Code 8 licence and good street sense will get you started at a motor spares shop in Brackenfell. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

You'll be based at a motor spares shop in Brackenfell. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. Weekend work is on a roster, so you won't be on every weekend.

• Phone customers when the address is hard to find
• Return undelivered parcels to the depot with a reason code
• Scan parcels on delivery and take a photo or signature
• Fill up the vehicle and keep fuel slips for the logbook
• Bank cheques, post documents and run office errands
• Follow the delivery app for route and stop order

• Polite with customers at the door
• Good sense of direction and map reading
• Valid Code 8 (B) licence, or A licence for motorbike roles
• Smartphone and comfortable using delivery apps

• Your own reliable bakkie or bike for owner-driver contracts
• Knowledge of the city's industrial areas
• Previous courier or last-mile experience

• Branded uniform and rain gear
• Per-drop incentive on busy days
• Company van, bakkie or scooter provided
• Fuel card for work trips

• Say you have a smartphone and know delivery apps. Most courier jobs now run through an app and training time is short.
