Midibus Driver (School Routes) – Permanent

You'll carry passengers safely around Epping for a staff transport contractor, on time and by the timetable. It's the kind of job where doing the basics well every day gets you noticed.

Location: Epping, Western Cape. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first.

• Pick up and drop off schoolchildren only at approved points
• Count passengers and make sure nobody stands beyond the limit
• Inspect the bus before each trip: tyres, brakes, doors, emergency exits
• Keep the bus clean inside and report any damage
• Check passenger tickets, tags or staff cards when boarding
• Follow speed limits strictly; buses are tracked

• Patient and friendly with passengers
• Valid PrDP for passengers (P)
• Valid Code 10 or Code 14 licence
• Medically fit
• Punctual for very early starts
• At least 3 years of bus or taxi driving

• Fluent in more than one language
• Tour coach experience with charters

• Company uniform
• Paid passenger PrDP renewal
• Tips and trip allowances on tour charters
• Split-shift allowance on staff transport routes

• Write "PrDP P valid until" with the date, right at the top of your CV. It is the first thing a bus operator checks.
• Talk about safety records in the interview. Bus companies want to hear about zero accidents and on-time runs.
