Job Description

For an engineering firm in Cape Town CBD, fast and careful deliveries keep customers coming back. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

This post is in Cape Town CBD (Western Cape). Please only apply if you can travel there daily. Overtime comes up in peak season and is paid.

What you'll actually do

Load parcels in route order from the depot scanning area
Collect spares and parts from suppliers and bring them to the workshop
Return undelivered parcels to the depot with a reason code
Fill up the vehicle and keep fuel slips for the logbook
Bank cheques, post documents and run office errands
Keep your vehicle or bike clean and report faults

Must-haves

At least 1 year of driving experience
Polite with customers at the door
Good sense of direction and map reading
Able to work Saturdays
Valid Code 8 (B) licence, or A licence for motorbike roles

Nice if you have

Your own reliable bakkie or bike for owner-driver contracts
Knowledge of the city's industrial areas
